Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS)/ Globally Harmonized System (GHS) provide attendees with information they need to work safely with hazardous materials. WHMIS/GHS is a system for making sure that important information about hazardous materials is passed on to the workers who handle them. This includes students who are using or working in proximity to hazardous materials in the workplace.

The course covers the most current federal legislation – the amended Hazardous Products Act and the new Hazardous Products Regulations (HPR).

Each attendee will receive a certificate once successfully completed the course.
